FROM MARCH 30TH, FIVE DIRECTED BY IGOR GOTESMAN WILL BE RELEASED.

Igor Gotesman, a former student from the French Directing Department (2008) directed his first feature film, Five, adapted from his short movie of the same name.

He came to the school for a masterclass to present his short movie and to invite students to the premiere. Igor shared his experience making the short with the students, answering their questions about how he managed to get the short film off the ground.

Thanks to a screening of his short film at the Gaumont Opera movie theatre, he managed to meet his future producer, and get the feature version off the ground.

The movie is about a bunch of friends wanting to live together as roommates. Igor told of the importance of starting with a personal story as his first comedy feature, and in exploring the themes of friendship, love and trust.

Pierre Niney (who plays Samuel in the movie) is one of his friends and had already worked with him several times. Igor has already written two other screenplays with this actor and has also participated in three seasons of the Casting(s) TV series broadcast and financed by Canal +.

On the 19th February, Students saw the preview of the feature version of FIVE held at the UGC Ciné Cité Paris 19e. Once again, Igor was present and shared tips and anecdotes with the students. Many thanks to him!

So now, don’t miss your chance to see this great comedy from March 30th!
