Advanced Cinematography

EICAR One Year Certificate

Overview

The entire program is taught in English

This program is designed to offer a year featuring lighting and camera oriented courses and workshops, together with supplementary discipline classes to round out the year. It culminates in a full production period offering experience in the camera department on various upper level shoots to experiment and diversify.

It is intended for future Directors of Photography or Assistant Camera technicians and Lighting Professionals who wish to spend a year perfecting these skill sets.

The One Year Program – Advanced Cinematography student is expected to already have a basic level of cinematography knowledge that will allow access to advanced courses and workshops on offer. This is not for beginners as the courses offered will be at an advanced BFA 3rd year or MFA 2nd year level.

The One Year Program – Advanced Cinematography follows the philosophy of “hands-on” practical exercises in classes, workshops and a third term devoted to working on the production of student films as a Cinematographer, Operator, AC, Gaffer, or Key Grip. It is designed to work on advanced cameras and workflow technologies to equip and train cinematographers for the rigors of the industry.
