EICAR INTERNATIONAL DEPARTMENT IS ONCE AGAIN PLANNING THEIR ANNUAL JULY WORKSHOPS! STUDENTS FROM ALL AROUND THE WORLD ARE WELCOMED TO TAKE THESE INTENSIVE TWO AND THREE WEEK ENGLISH-LANGUAGE FILM WORKSHOPS TO TRAIN IN THE FUNDAMENTALS OF SCREENWRITING AND FILMMAKING.
EICAR Summer Workshops are the perfect stepping stone into learning the fundamentals of the craft and to jumpstart those who are thinking of writing and directing their own short films. The school offers two different workshops, focusing on the crafts of professional filmmaking and screenwriting.

Making a short (July 11th-29th)
EICAR three week Filmmaking Workshop consists of presenting to participants the fundamentals of filmmaking: screenwriting, cinematography, editing whilst making a short film. It combines both theoretical presentations and hands-on practical exercises. Each participant produces a final five-minute film.
Fees : 1950 € for 3 weeks Filmmaking
Writing a short (July 11th-22th)
During this two-week workshop, participants will receive a thorough background in both the principles of screenplay story structure, successful “pitching” and professional formatting. The students learns the concepts of screenwriting and make improvements in their own work thanks to the intensive round table workshop dedicated to one on one feedback of their script projects.
